The Contract that Keeps on Taking

Carl Crawford finds his way onto the disabled list. In the five full seasons since signing his contract, Crawford played 456 games, or about 91 a year. That’s only 56% of the total games he might have played.

The Dodgers are now seeing how thin they can stretch their outfield.
