Justin Verlander strikes out the three Yankees he faces in the top of the eighth inning to keep the Astros tied at one. Verlander appears to have turned back the clock. This game reminds me of Verlander at his peak, finding a little extra velocity in the late innings. In addition, he has not lost his breaking ball. He walked one and struck out 13 so far. Wow.
