Playoffs Today

Game two of the 2018 Worlds Series is scheduled to take place Wedensday night at a chilly Fenway Park. Hyun-Jin Ryu faces David Price. Overall, Ryu pitched very well in his three years in the post-season. Twice he posted seven shutout innings, including his game against the Braves this season. Milwaukee, however, score seven runs against him in 7 1/3 innings. He does not walk batters, and keeps the ball in the park. The Red Sox showed in game one that they have multiple ways to score runs that involve neither the walk nor the home run.

Price comes off his most successful post-season start. His six shutout innings against Houston lowered his career post-season ERA to 5.04. Price owns good strikeout and walk numbers in post-season games, it’s the home runs that hurt him. The Dodgers bring a lot of power to the plate.

Enjoy!
