Given that this is a team of rich major league players, I assume they never went away.
L.J. Hoes did a much better job in the minors of getting on base than he has in the majors. He’ll play 2016 as a 26 year old, so it may be worth giving him two months to play everyday to see if he can be a table setter. I would bat him ninth to serve as a secondary lead-off man to take pressure off him.
