The BBWAA awards the NL Cy Young to Jake Arrieta. I suspect the wins won out. It was a very close vote as Arrieta wins 169-147 over Zack Greinke. Clayton Kershaw finished third at 101. This, like many of the awards this year, was one where the voters couldn’t get it wrong. All three pitchers deserved it.
