The Astros and Red Sox play game two of the ALCS, Houston having claimed home field advantage with a game one win. Gerrit Cole faces David Price. Cole pitched well in the post-season in four starts. He owns a 2-2 record and 3.13 ERA, but his most impressive numbers are 26 strikeouts and just three walks in 23 innings. He’s been hurt by the long ball, as 5 of his 14 went for home runs. Price made two starts against the Astros this season. He allowed seven hits and three walks in 12 1/3 innings, striking out 17. Somehow, the Astros managed to score five runs, as they hit a triple and home run with men on base.
