Gleyber Torres just grounded a ball up the middle for a single. When I was young, that ground ball was almost always a hit. With the shifts used today, I found myself expecting someone to field Torres’s ball as it made it’s way through the infield. Times have certainly changed my expectations.
The Yankees lead the Red Sox 3-1 in the top of the sixth inning, and they have men on first and second with one out.
