Here’s wishing Hank Aaron a happy 85th birthday. I do remember watching his 715th home run; I don’t remember if the game was being broadcast nationally or if the network was cutting into programming to show Aaron’s plate appearances. That, along with Mickey Mantle‘s retirement were two of my best memories from my baseball childhood.
