Just Joshing

Everyone on air is talking about the Brewers using Josh Hader in game three in longer relief. I tend to agree with the move. If the Brewers hold on to his four-run lead, the win back home-field advantage. The Dodgers are still a great offensive team, so stopping them now is important.

Secondly, the most important game of a seven-game series is often game five. Hader will be available for that game. In addition, because of the day off, he will likely be able to pitch in games 5, 6, and 7 if needed. It’s the right move to almost guarantee the game three win, and then the Brewers just need to play .500 ball with Hader available for three games.
