Peak Dodgers

The Dodgers once again played like a team that should have won 100 games as they beat the Braves 6-0 in game one of the NLDS. Hyun-Jin Ryu continued his season long domination at Chavez Ravine, pitching seven innings, allowing four hits and no walks while striking out eight. The Dodgers offense mananged just five hits, but they drew eight walks, and four of the five hits went for extra bases. Everyone on the team has pop, and Joc Pederson, Max Muncy, and Kike Hernandez combine to drive in five of the six runs with their homers. The Dodgers won their last six games, outscoring their opponents 45-9.

Ryu recovered from labrum surgery, a very long struggle for him to get to last night’s dominant performance.
