The Astros easily beat the Indians in game one of their ALDS, the final score 7-2. The Astros hit four home runs and two doubles, providing plenty of power for Justin Verlander and the bullpen. Alex Bregman won the battle of the top third baseman as Bregman homered, single and walked, driving in two runs, while Jose Ramirez went 0 for 3 with a walk and an RBI.
