Rockies Win

I was not able to stay up last night, but thirteen was the lucky number for the Rockies as they single three times with two out to take a 2-1 lead on the Cubs. Scott Oberg, who came on to get the last out of the bottom of the 12th, struck out the side. He K’d all four batters he faced to earn the win. He must have been pumped up, as his strikeout rate is about 9 per 9 IP.

Congratulations to the Rockies, who travel north to Milwaukee to play the Brewers on Thursday.

MLB.com details the oddities of the game, including a ball caught in the ivy and a Catcher Interference call.
