Mookie Betts just made a great play in rightfield to rob a hit from Andrew McCutchen. Gleyber Torres had broken from first, and Betts made a great running catch toward the rightfield line, spun and threw to first, and just missed doubling Torres off first base. Very impressive.
Note that a big difference between the Yankees and the Red Sox is Boston’s ability to turn a batted ball into an out. Betts’s catch was a great example of that.
