My thoughts go out to his family and friends. I must admit, your birthday is a good day to die.
Green played a dozen seasons, but his time as a regular was short. He did post excellent OBPs, however, when playing every day. From 1960 through 1962 his slash line came in at .281/.373/.407, making him an excellent table setter. He finished his career with a .351 OBP.
