A Piece of Gillaspie

Conor Gillaspie picks up his third single of the evening in the bottom of the fifth. It comes with runners on second and third and drives in a run to give the Giants a 4-2 lead over the Cubs. Chicago scored in the top of the inning, but the Giants get in right back.

Gillaspie had two hits in the first three games of the series. He’s now hitting .357 in the NLDS.

Update: Joe Panik hits a sacrifice fly, and the Giants lead 5-2. San Francisco is on their way to their 11th straight win in an elimination game.
