Jayson Werth was on first with two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. Ryan Zimmerman lined a double down the leftfield line, and Werth tried to score. He was out by a mile. I couldn’t see the third base coach, but I was amazed that Werth tried to score.
The Nationals still lead the Dodgers 1-0 two thirds of the way through the game.
