The Marlins will not win this year. When you’d rather have Jeff Francoeur than Marcell Ozuna there’s something wrong:
“Up to 10 teams have inquired and/or have serious interest. But Marlins executives are getting pushback from new hitting coach Barry Bonds and manager Don Mattingly, feeling they can shape Ozuna into a 30/30 performer.”
Francoeur proved time and again he can’t hit major league pitching. Ozuna plays 2016 as a 25-year-old with upside. Let two of the better hitters of the last 30 years take a crack at him.
