I hope everyone gets to enjoy the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. A good read for today would be Brushing Back Jim Crow, the story of the integration of minor league baseball in the south. Baseball owns a permanent scar for the exclusion of African Americans through the first half of the 20th century, but this is a story of baseball being a positive force toward integration.
