Astros Reach Escape Velocity

For the second day in a row, the Astros beat the Red Sox 8-2 to go up 2-0 in the ALDS. Jose Altuve continued his assault with two singles and two walks, while George Springer and Carlos Correa adding home runs. Dallas Keuchel lasted 5 2/3 innings for the win giving up one run. The Red Sox did work him, as Keuchel threw 96 pitches, but all that work was for naught.

This Astros offense is strong top to bottom, and they collected 12 hits and six walks Friday afternoon. The fate of Boston now lies in the hand of Doug Fister.
