The Arizona Diamondbacks led the NL in triples with 39 in 2017, and hit four triples in the Wild Card game to beat the Rockies 11-8. Colorado never gave up, scoring a run in the top of the ninth inning, but Arizona out-slugged them seven EXBH to five. Neither the starters nor the bullpens pitched well for either team, as it was all offense on the evening. The Diamondbacks simply had a bit more. They will face the Dodgers Friday night in the opening of the NLDS.
