Ned Yost fell out of a tree:
The Kansas City Royals say manager Ned Yost is recovering from a broken pelvis he suffered by falling from a tree at his home in Georgia.
Yost, 62, had been working on a tree stand used for hunting when he fell, breaking his pelvis. A Royals official told the Kansas City Star that Yost was injured “over the weekend.”
Here’s wishing Yost a speedy recovery, and hoping he’ll be more careful working in trees in the future.
