Max Scherzer lost his no-hit bid with one out in the seventh when Ben Zobrist doubled. That was it for Scherzer. Jason Heyward singled in Zobrist.
Oliver Perez comes in with a man on second and two out in the eighth, and Anthony Rizzo bloops a single into center to drive in the go-ahead run. The Cubs lead 2-1 going to the top of the ninth, as Rizzo is out trying for second.
