With two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, Jake Arrieta walks Lonnie Chisenhall. With 102 pitches thrown, Joe Maddon pulls Arrieta in favor of Mike Montgomery. Arrieta had the strikeouts working in this game, retiring nine on the K, including Tyler Naquin with the bases loaded. The last ten outs of the game are entrusted to the Cubs bullpen as they lead the Indians 7-2.
Update: Montgomery induces a ground ball for a force out to end the inning. The Cubs are nine outs away from a game seven.
