The Orioles and Yovani Gallardo appear to have reached a three-year deal:
After weeks of negotiating, a three-year deal was finally struck Saturday between pitcher Yovani Gallardo and the Orioles, according to MLB’s Jon Heyman.
The Orioles had been “making progress” toward a deal with Gallardo for a couple of weeks. But the two sides finally reached an agreement, pending a physical, Saturday evening.
Gallardo, orioles have a deal. $35M, 3 yrs

Three years, $35 million is pretty cheap for Gallardo. I would have expected him to be worth more like $14 million a year. I guess the Orioles (and the rest of the league) valued the lost draft choice very highly. On the other hand, his strike out rate fell from about nine batters per nine to six batters per nine over the last three years, so that might have forced his value down as well.
The Orioles should have a rotation good enough for their offense.
