The Cubs offense kept Jake Arrieta‘s win streak alive as they score nine runs to beat St. Louis 9-8. He allowed seven hits and four runs, lasting just five innings. It’s the first time he allowed four runs in game since last June. It’s only his 2nd non-quality start in his last 30 games.
Jake made life easy for the Cubs offense for almost a year. Nice to see them pick up their teammate on a bad day.
