The stitches opened up on Trevor Bauer‘s pitching hand, and he’s dripping blood. He walked two batters in the inning, the second with two out. He may need to come out of the game, as he can’t discolor the ball.
The Indians lead the Blue Jays 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning.
Update: The trainer could not stop the bleeding, and Bauer is out of the game. It was a brave start. Dan Otero comes on to pitch with two on and two out.
