At the end of the seventh inning, Orioles leftfielder Hyun Soo Kim was backing up to the wall to catch a Melvin Upton fly ball when something holding liquid came hurling out of the outfield stands and landed near Kim. It did not hit him or interfere with the play. Kim looked incredulous, and Adam Jones came over and yelled at the fans. Buck Showalter was coming out to talk about the situation when the game went to commercial. I suspect the fan will be tossed.
Replay shows it was a can.
