Double and a Steal

Howie Kendrick hits a one-out double in the bottom of the fourth inning, then steals third. He is called out, but the replay shows he is safe, and the call is reversed. The Dodgers have the tying run at third with one out.

Update: Note that the throw beat Kendrick, but not the tag. Having watched replay challenges for a while now, the biggest place umpires need to improve is the stolen base call. It seems a lot of those are wrong.

Update: Adrian Gonzalez hits a ball on the ground with the infield in, but Anthony Rizzo bobbles it. He can’t get the runner at home, so he gets the sure out at first. The Dodgers and Cubs are tied at one run each.
