Speed

Trea Turner scores on a Jayson Werth double in the top of the third. Most third base coaches would not send a runner on that play, no one out in the inning, but Turner is so fast, they took the chance. His diving slide just beat the throw, and the Nationals tie the Dodgers at one.

I remember thinking Bryce Harper was fast when he came up, but Turner is faster.

After a pop out, Harper singles home Werth, and the Nationals take a 2-1 lead.

Update: Harper steals second and goes to third on a throwing error, but it doesn’t matter as Anthony Rendon homers, and the Nationals lead 4-1.
