Walk This Way

The first two Dodgers batters in the bottom of the fifth draw walks to put runners on first and second. The top of the Dodgers comes up, and Joe Maddon pulls John Lackey in favor of Mike Montgomery.

One thing that Theo Epstein brought over to the Cubs that I don’t like is the long games. The Indians and Blue Jays played nice, crisp games. The Cubs and Dodgers just drag on. The fifth inning is not over, and the game is already 2:15 minutes old.

Update: Howie Kendrick pinch hits for Chase Utley and singles to left to load the bases.
