Noah Syndergaard earned the win in all respects Wednesday night as the Mets beat the Dodgers 4-3. The Mets starter pitched eight innings, allowing two solo home runs while walking one and striking out six. On the other side of the ball, he smashed two home runs, driving in all four Mets runs!
Micah Owings was the last pitcher to accomplish the feat, way back on August 18, 2007. It was actually a bit common during the aughties, happening six times from 2000 to 2007.
