The Yankees had a ceremony for Alex Rodriguez between the rain drops. They did the ceremony quickly, and just finished as a down pour occurred and Rodriguez rushed his daughters off the field. The Yankees gave A-Rod a base in a glass case autographed by all his teammates. They also gave him a framed jersey commemorating his last game. It somehow seems fitting that even his good bye gets marred, this time by bad weather.
On the other hand, it was nice that the ceremony was short and sweet, with no long speeches.
