Houston World Champions

The Astros beat the Dodgers 5-1 in game seven of the World Series, and Houston wins their first World Championship. George Springer hit a double and a home runs, driving in two and scoring twice. Charlie Morton pitched the last four innings and gets credited with the win. He gave up a run, but walked just one batters and struck out four. Once again, the offense chased Yu Darvish early, and the Houston pitching staff was able to hold down the Dodgers for the win.

Congratulations to the Astros on a great win, and a great playoff series. This is a young, exciting team, and they managed to hold off a good Yankees team and a great Dodgers team for the trophy. Another long drought falls.
