Random Player Report

The Evil Player Program picked Dustin Garneau for the next player report. Garneau is a light-hitting catcher, originally drafted and brought to the majors by the Rockies. In 2017, they lost him on waivers to the Athletics. His career slash line stands at .192/.264/.320, and 2018 will be his seasonal age 30 season. His AAA number were very good, but he tended to play at high altitude in the PCL. He draws a decent amount of walks and has doubles power, but overall is a black hole when it comes to making outs.

His best chance of staying in the majors would be the legal problems of Bruce Maxwell, who now has a trial scheduled for April.
