The number one thing missing in the game is speed? He sounds like George Steinbrenner after he signed Dave Collins, and that didn’t work out too well. I wonder how many game Dusty will blow because he hates slow people, and will use a less talented speedster in a situation that calls for a slow slugger.
Also, given the type of player Baker thinks has speed, I suspect the Nationals will be making a deal for David Ortiz.
