The Future of the Brewers

The Brewers picked up three very young pitchers from the Mariners for Adam Lind:

The Brewers are getting right-handers Daniel Missaki, Carlos Herrera and Freddy Peralta in the trade announced at the winter meetings.

All three showed good three-true outcome numbers in the minors so far, all before seasonal age 20. Missaki is the biggest question mark as he is recovering from Tommy John surgery. It’s conceivable that in three years these three will help the Brewers to a pretty good rotation. Even if just one of them becomes a quality major league pitcher, the deal will be a good one for Milwaukee.
