High Run Monday

There are ten teams playing at about 9:15 PM EDT, and six of them have scored at least six runs so far. One of those games is close, as Detroit leads Minnesota 8-7 in the sixth inning, the Tigers scoring eight runs in the first inning. The Rays scored 11 runs in the first four innings and lead Toronto 11-1. The Pirates lead Atlanta 6-2, barely making the cut, while the Indians overcame an early 4-0 deficit to currently lead the Reds 15-6, as Cleveland tries for the biggest night of them all.

When I looked for games of the game, most of the match-up looked pretty bad, and that’s playing out. Only the Marlins and Phillies do not have a team that cracked six runs, but the Marlins lead 5-1 in the seventh.
