Eduardo Rodriguez of the Red Sox pitched four no-hit innings. He was pitching to his first batter of the fifth inning, and it looked like he had trouble with one of his knees. The Red Sox removed him from the game, so it’s up to the bullpen to keep the no-hitter going.
Rodriguez was pitching very well, walking one and striking out seven. His four innings of work left him with a 5.11 ERA for the year, so he might have been turning a corner in this game.
The Red Sox lead the Orioles 3-0.
