Jon Lester comes out for the sixth inning against the Cardinals with a perfect game intact. He’s struck out seven so far, throwing just 58 pitches, 37 for strikes. He’s not winning, however, as the Cubs have just two hits and no walks, the game scoreless through five as Adam Wainwright is just a little less perfect himself.
Update: With two out in the sixth inning, Wainwright breaks up the no-hitter with a ground single through the shortstop hole.
