Making Up for Lost Time

Julio Teheran pitched well this season with no support. Sunday, he pitched great with great support and picked up just his third win of the season. Teheran gave up a single to Michael Conforto in the third inning and that would be the only Mets batter to reach base in the game. Meanwhile, the Braves scored six runs on 11 hits. Freddie Freeman stayed hot with two doubles and two singles, and Nick Markakis homered. The Braves took home a win 6-0, and have now won (pallidrome alert!) five in a row. The Mets suffered their their third June shutout.
