Toronto travels to Detroit as J.A. Happ takes on Michael Fulmer. Happ excels on the road this year, holding batters to a .196/.274/.331 slash line, compared to .287/.339/.417 in Toronto. Fulmer is off to a good start in his rookie year. His 3.24 ERA is helped by his 44 strikeouts with just 13 walks in 41 2/3 innings.
Chris Archer faces Robbie Ray, the two with nearly identical poor ERAs of 4.75 and 4.74 respectively. I’m just including it because the Rays are facing Ray.
