Ubaldo Jimenez came into action on Sunday with a .317 batting average allowed this season, 4th highest in the majors among pitchers with 250 batters faced. That went up quite a bit today as Jimenez faces seven batters and allows hits to six of them, including four doubles. That raises his batting average allowed to .331 and his slugging percentage allowed to .483. This was his shortest outing of the season, but May 7th was the last time he went deep in a game. Jimenez is routinely putting the Orioles in a whole and stressing the bullpen.
He may not lose, however, as the Orioles rebounded from a 5-0 deficit to trail the Blue Jays 7-6 in the fifth inning.
