Choose the Form of Your Destructor

Daniel Murphy got most of the day off on Monday, but comes back on Tuesday to continue to hurt his former team, the Mets. The Nationals win 11-4 as Murphy goes four for five with a double, a run scored, and five RBI. In 31 games against the Mets since joining Nationals, Murphy is 49 for 121, .405, with 11 doubles, a triple, eight home runs, 34 RBI, and 22 runs scored. He walked 11 times, nine of those intentionally. He seems determined to make the Mets pay with losses because they wouldn’t pay him in dollars.
