First Run

The Rays score the first run of the 2017 season as Corey Dickerson singles, Kevin Kiermaier doubles, and Evan Longoria hits a sacrifice fly. The Rays lead the Yankees 1-0.

In the top of the first, Gary Sanchez hit a ball back to the box that nearly took off Chris Archer‘s legs. I will just go as another ground out, however.

Update: The Rays get four hits and a walk against Masahiro Tanaka and lead the Yankees 3-0 at the end of the first inning. They were looking for good pitches early in the count and hitting them hard.
