Stephen Piscotty just scored on a poor fielding play by the Cubs. Anthony Rizzo threw home to try to get Piscotty, and the ball hit him in the ear flap of his helmet. Piscotty was face down on the ground for a few minutes, but walked off under his own power. The helmet likely saved a more serious injury.
Piscotty’s run cuts the Cubs lead to 2-1 in the 5th inning.
