Baseball Jesus appears to be back on the mound as Stephen Strasburg retires the Marlins in order in the first. He threw 16 pitches, 12 for strikes, and hit 98 MPH.
Opening Day II is underway.
Update: Noah Syndergaard uses just seven pitches to retire the Braves in the first, and he struck out a batter.
Update: Edinson Volquez puts the first two Nationals on, but comes back to strike out Bryce Harper, Daniel Murphy, and Ryan Zimmerman to end the threat. A nice recovery by the Marlins starter.
