Jameson Taillon matches goose eggs with Chris Sale for seven innings. Sale pitched a bit better, walking one and striking out seven, allowing the Pirates just three hits. Taillon gave up five hits and three walks while striking out six Red Sox batters. Pittsburgh did not have an At Bat with runners in scoring position, while Boston is 1 for 4.
