After losing his perfect game in the sixth, Madison Bumgarner hits a one-out solo home run in the top of the seventh to put the Giants back on top of the Diamondbacks 4-3. That gives Bumgarner 16 home runs since the start of 2012 as a pitcher, more than twice as many as the number two man on the list, Travis Wood.
Update: According to the broadcast, Bumgarner is the first pitcher to hit two home runs on opening day.
