The Colorado Rockies added Mark Reynolds late, after Ian Desmond could not start the season due to injury. Reynolds had a great opening day, going two for three with a home run, double, and three RBI as the Rockies beat the Brewers 7-5. Jon Gray was strong through four innings, but blew a 4-0 lead in the fifth as Milwaukee scored all five of their runs. Reynolds was in the middle of the two run rally in the seventh inning scoring the tying run after his double. Not bad for a last minute replacement.
