John Dewan ranks the rotations of the 30 MLB teams based on the Bill James Starting Pitcher rankings. Looking at this ranking, it becomes apparent why this might be the era of the super teams. The first eight teams on the list all developed excellent offenses to go with their top rotations. Often times, a winning team will be strong on side of the ball, and just okay on the other. When a team can both score and prevent runs at a high level, 100+ win seasons become possible. It looks like there are a number of candidates for that honor this season.
